Lina, Flevopark 22' is part of the ongoing artistic research by Amsterdam-based artist Ro Buur. Since 2022, Buur has been documenting daily life with analog photography. What began as a personal way to be present in the moment and reconnect with the small events of everyday life, grew into an extensive and continuously expanding archive of more than 1,600 photos.

This archive is supplemented with other forms of remembrance and documentation, including family photos, sound recordings, objects, dreams, conversations, and texts. Together, these elements form a layered and constantly changing whole where personal and collective stories converge.

Within Ro Buur's work, themes such as intimacy, care, loss, rituals, recovery, rest, and resilience are central. Everyday encounters, time spent with others, and attention to subtle changes in light, landscape, and presence are used to explore the interconnectedness between people, bodies, and their environment.

Ro Buur works multidisciplinary with photography, film, sound, ceramics, and installations. The analog camera not only functions as an instrument of observation but also as a way of thinking: an extension of attention, memory, and proximity.

With Lina, Flevopark 22', Ro Buur offers a serene and intimate image from this growing archive. The work invites viewers to look longer and make space for the vulnerable, often inconspicuous moments that shape our lives.
