Simon Lewis Wards - Candy Necklace

Simon Lewis Wards is an Auckland-based artist who works in glass and ceramics with a playful Pop Kiwiana style. His artwork combines humor and nostalgia, often referencing childhood memories of New Zealand.

His porcelain bags filled with brightly colored glass jet planes, reminiscent of the local milkman's candy mixes, are well-known. From his Auckland studio, Wards creates exhibition pieces and collaborations that bring a smile to the public.
